Employers contract with Family Counselling and Support Services for Guelph Wellington to provide confidential counselling services for employees and their dependents. Counselling could focus on issues such as family and couple relationships, work stress, financial stress and job performance.

EAP’s also provide on-site training sessions and workshops focusing upon various aspects of family and workplace-related concerns and skills development such as development and/or recognition of stress management strategies, conflict resolution, mediation, support through restructuring initiatives of the organization; support through Critical Incidence Management and/or bereavement.

Our goals are to assist with problem solving, provide tools for coping, and increase job satisfaction and productivity. The work we do with companies and their employees is invested back into the community.

A note about confidentiality: All our services are based on a confidentiality agreement. There are two legally mandated exceptions: incidences of suspected child abuse and where harm to one’s self or another person is intended.
