Adult Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse Group Program
This program offers individual sessions and a group program to men who experienced sexual abuse as children. The program offers a Stage 1 Trauma Treatment approach focusing on psychoeducation and the development of tools for personal safety and emotional regulation.

Group and individual sessions are offered to participants at no cost.

Adult Female Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse Group Program Phase 1
This program offers individual and group treatment for women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.  The Phase 1 group offers psychoeducational and tools for safety and emotional regulation.

Adult Female Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse Group Program Phase 2
This program offers individual and group treatment for women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. The Phase 2 group is focused on recovery through integration of meaning.

Group and individual sessions are offered to participants at no cost.

Anger Management Group Program for Men
The group program offers men eight sessions to explore information about anger management and to self assess their own expression of anger, and way in which they can make considered decisions about their choices. This group is offered four times per year.

Violence against Women (VAW) Phase 1
This group offers support and education for women who have experienced intimate partner violence. The group assists women to develop tools for safety.

Group sessions are offered to participants at no cost.

Violence against Women (VAW) Phase 2
This group provides women with an opportunity to process their experiences and create a meaningful narrative of their experiences.

Child Witness
This program offers individual, family and group and counselling for mothers who have experienced intimate partner violence and their children who have witnessed experienced the abuse.

Breaking Free: Better Choices + Better Relationships
FCSSGW has created a unique program for both male and female youth between the ages of 12 and 17, who have been abused or have witnessed abuse in the home and are heading down the same path in their lives – acting out with aggression, bullying and violence. The eight week group program, currently offered at St. John Bosco school, teaches healthy, appropriate strategies for managing stress and resolving conflict.

The students who graduate from this program work as peers for other students and are extremely passionate about the program and the facilitators. They know they are being heard, respected and are learning alternative methods to bullying and violence – and they demonstrate these new behaviours on a daily basis.

Breaking Free assists teens learn to break  the cycle of abuse and violence so that they learn to make better choices for themselves.

Mood Management Group
This coeducational program offers six sessions and provides participants an opportunity to manage their mood. The six group sessions focus on wellness strategies, coping skills, understanding triggers, and developing personal meaning. This group is structured for easy access in an open group format.

Fees are assessed at intake for this six session program.

Communication and Relationship Group
This coeducational program offers six sessions and provides participants an opportunity to build communication and relationship skills. The six sessions focus on conflict resolution, assertiveness, planning for difficult conversations, attachment styles, and feeling/thinking statements and coping skills. This group is structured for easy access in an open group format.

Fees are assessed at intake for this six session program.

Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program for Men
The PAR Group program for men is a 12-session group education/counselling program that will provide men with an opportunity to examine their beliefs and attitudes towards domestic violence/abuse and learn non-violent/non-abusive strategies and skills to resolve conflict and develop a healthy relationship. The open structure of the PAR Male groups increases accessibility for PAR clients.

Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program for Women
The PAR program for Women offers individual and group counselling for women. The PAR female group program offers an individual session and  10 sessions of  group education/counselling program that will provide women with an opportunity to examine their beliefs and attitudes towards domestic violence and learn non-violent strategies and skills to resolve conflict and develop a healthy relationship.
